Books want to be born: I never make them. They come to me and insist on being written... ~Samuel Butler What do you think?

The most fun I have writing is when this happens - like the book is already fully formed and just needs me to write it down. I've especially had this feeling with "Lyra's Children," my epic Sailor Moon fanfic, and the story I'm writing right now, "The Broken God." There have been times when I've forced a story into existence, but that never works out as well. It works better when I give my ideas time to form themselves.
When the story comes and is insisting on being written, it's hard to even think about anything else. In the 2 1/2 months since I started working on "the Broken God" probably 75% of my waking thoughts have been about that. maybe that's an exaggeration, but not by much.
