Dear Dissertation,
You know I love you... in fact I'm your greatest champion, but we can't continue like this.
I have to move on, get a real job & pay off all of these loans. Face it, I've exceeded my Subsidized Loan limit. I could buy a house for what I owe... maybe not in California, but still, a roof and no mortgage.
So what do you say? Can we just sit down and get things lined out? You and I know the whole story, but there are young researchers out there who could build on what we've done together... without us, they'll have to re-invent the wheel (aka our novel epithermal neutron resampling procedure) or they may give up and choose to work on some icy moon instead.
