Inspiration for my stories

What inspires most of my fics are when I am watching a particular episode/scene and I am thinking about what I would like to see happen in the plot if I had my way.
That was partly what inspired a couple of my Rayearth fics but there was something else, too.
Was listening to an interview by the voice actor for Zagato and Lantis,(Lex Lang) where he had said Zagato has a good heart deep down regardless of the exterior shown and I kept thinking what a shame he didn't get to show that, so I wrote the fics exploring what if he did get to.

That's interesting, that the voice actor had that kind of deep insight into the character. I guess because he spent so much time thinking about what the character says and what goes unsaid, and what the motivations and inner thoughts might be.

It's fun to dig beneath the surface of a character and see what's inside.
